Process Improvement
I help businesses retain their employees and be successful.
Solutions Offered
I provide many services that revolve around making business do what they do better. Most businesses have frustrating aspects of how they operate. It frustrates them because their processes don’t work or are broken. I work with a business to understand their current processes, develop better future processes and then implement the required changes.
Background
My first job out of the Navy, a division of a large corporation, I worked at for 6 years and thought I would be there forever. I was a great worker even being promoted several times. Unfortunately, corporate decided that the company would be better located off shore. I was told through no fault of my own that I was losing my job. The worst feeling in the world. Fast forward 10 years later. I held a management position at a small manufacturing company. The recession was taking a toll on the business. I was told to decide who to lay off. I was now on the other side of the table telling people who I had developed a friendship with that they were losing their jobs, through no fault of their own. For the most part I don’t think that any person who truly wants a job should ever have to go through getting laid off. I think that with good processes and discipline most businesses should be able to retain their employees and be successful.

How We Work
- Training: I can train businesses on process improvement/Lean manufacturing. Often times businesses have continuous improvement personnel and just want someone to train their employees.
- Training and Implementation: The best way to learn is to train the skill then apply the skill. The biggest part of my business is to provide training, then lead the trainees through implementation so that they fully understand the improvement process.
- Implementation: Many businesses that I have worked with for a while will have me come in to work on solving specific problems with a team of employees. This can be 1 hour to organize an office supply storage area or many days to relay out a production area.
